2023 Rogue Platinum instrument panel keeps dimming in daylight

Is anyone else's 2023 Rogue Platinum instrument panel dimming on its own during the day? I set my brightness manually, but it still changes, which is annoying when it's bright out. Am I missing a setting, or is it a sensor problem, any ideas?

Yeah, mine did the same on cloudy days and it drove me nuts until I realized the auto headlight sensor was kicking in early and dimming the panel. I ended up turning off the auto headlight setting and that kept the brightness steady. Have you tried adjusting the ambient light sensitivity in the settings menu or is that grayed out on your trim?.

@hybrid|hauler yeah, sounds like your ambient light sensor is being overly sensitive or is potentially a bit faulty
Check if anything's partially covering it or if it looks dusty. If it's constantly fluctuating, it might be miscalibrated or just on the fritz

I think the auto dimming sensor is still active even though you're setting brightness manually, check in the display settings, there's usually a separate toggle for automatic brightness that needs to be turned off independently, in a case where its already off and it's still doing it, might be that the sensor is faulty

It's common complaint especially for 2023 Roque platinum. Even though you manually set your brightness the ambient light sensor still adjusts the screen brightness, yes i know it's frustrating, try to switch the headlight knob off and see if the dimming stops.

You have to go into the display settings and turn off the auto dimming tied to the light sensor. Once I disabled that, the brightness stayed consistent.

Thanks for the tip! didn't realize the auto dimming could still be active even with manual brightness. If the sensor is faulty, would that affect other features too, like the rearview mirror or dash lights? Appreciate the help!
