can I swap my 2024 nissan rogue sv's 8" radio for the 9" with wireless carplay?

I just picked up a 2024 nissan Rogue SV that I always wanted, and it's got the 8" screen, but no wireless Apple CarPlay. The 9" radio in the SL model does have it, and I've spotted some of those larger units online for about $350-$400.

So, quick question for anyone who knows: is it a simple plug and play to swap the 8" unit for the 9" one?
Really hoping I don't have to tackle a huge project to get that wireless CarPlay going!

Not sure about the Rogue, but I've looked into a few other models where the car has a larger screen and often these kinds of replacements are not easy and simple. There's some rewiring involved and there's no guarantee it would work. Have you considered those wireless carplay adapters? They plug into the usb port and you connect your phone wirelessly to them

Swapping the 8" for the 9" unit wont be just a plug-and-play kinda thing. Wiring and software differences make it more involved amd complex. You'll likely need dealer help or a third party solution.

A friend of mine got an adapted and he couldn't be happier, Everything works as advertised and he'll recommend those things to anyone, even those who don't have a rogue
