Folks,
I’m planing to drive my Nissan Leaf S 2025 with a battery of 40 kWh. The stated range is 150 miles.
I’m planing to Drive from Denver, CO to Lansing Michigan passing through Omaha, NE. Denver to Omaha would be 8hrs drive and Omaha to Lansing would be 9 hrs.
I’ve planned the trip on PlugShare with each 60-80 miles to stop for charging.
1. What do you think the actual range of Nissan Leaf S is on the highway driving around 70mph?
2. Do you think this is doable in 2 days of straight driving (with overnight stop in Omaha)?
I got a few quotes to ship the car and it’s going to cost me around $800. Plus, I have to pay for flight, Uber to airport, etc. which will be more like $1100, and I won’t be able to take much of my stuff. But if I drive it, I’ll be able to take some of my stuff and the cost of changing and hotel overnight.
