Rogue stalls at low speeds

Bought a used 2020 Nissan Rogue SV that's been really great, bought it fresh, good mileage, until recently. At low speeds like in traffic or parking lots, it occasionally flashes the red oil change light and a 'shift to park' message. When this happens, the car wont accelerate or respond until I shift to park, shut it off, and restart it. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does, its really annoying . Anyone else encounter this?

It could be a transmission range sensor problem. That sensor detects the position of the gear shifter and if it's malfunctioning it can trigger those warnings and affect performance. My suggestion is to take it to the dealer or a certified mechanic to run some diagnostics to unravel the issue. Have you checked the oil level recently?
