Something rattling in the vent

I've been driving my Rogue for a few weeks and it's been all good until yesterday. I noticed a rattle in the passenger side vent which seems like something stuck there. As far as I can tell nothing seems broken, but I cannot see anything inside. How do I approach this problem? I don't have a problem taking it to the dealership, but I'm sure I'll get ripped off, so I'd like to try myself if possible

@MerryJosh Check for loose debris with a flashlight first. If nothing, maybe a small shop vac or compressed air before dismantling
